Project Delivery Overview
The QZee Slots experience was delivered as a dual-sided booking platform, with a customer web app designed for fast discovery and a streamlined, mobile-first booking journey, plus an owners app that gives service-based businesses the tools to set up and operate their scheduling day-to-day. The customer app was built to keep booking linear and low-friction, guiding users from Explore and venue pages through service and staff selection, optional add-ons, and a merged availability experience that supports both manually created slots and auto-generated availability. Payments were integrated through Stripe for venues that support pay online, with robust redirect handling and recovery flows, while booking confirmation included practical post-booking utilities like calendar files, directions, and resendable confirmation emails.
On the operational side, the owners app was delivered as the control centre for venues to create availability, manage services and add-ons, configure scheduling rules, and run core admin workflows like staff access, customer management, coupons, and transactions. Role-based access and feature gating were built in from the outset, with clear tier locks for premium features such as events, consultation forms, and terms and conditions. Stripe Connect onboarding and verification flows were implemented to unlock payouts, card payments, and refunds, while a calendar-led workflow made it easy for teams to create, edit, and manage bookings at scale. Together, both apps were designed to work as a cohesive system that reduces admin overhead for operators while keeping booking simple for customers.

For businesses, QZee provides an owners portal that acts as an operating system for appointments. Operators can manage services, add-ons, pricing, staff access, working hours, closures, discounts, and payment methods, then oversee bookings through a weekly calendar and performance dashboards. With Stripe Connect powering pay online, payouts, and refunds, and premium features like events, consultation forms, and terms enforcement, QZee helps businesses reduce no-shows, increase basket size through add-ons and promotions, and run smoother operations without relying on manual admin or scattered tools.
